(Olivia Palermo for ASOS Magazine)

By now, I'm sure all of you know-there is no denying how much I adore Olivia Palermo.  If I could be anybody else on the planet right now, it would be her-minus the being misunderstood and hated part. Haters gotta hate-even though they don't know squat!
The editorial as you can see showcases her in a very special way- that being her knack for street style. The styling for the shoot is and she just looks so stunning in every single shot.  And having been a fan of Asos for awhile, I was very pleased to see the two finally collaborate. I hope this cover is the first of many for Olivia, who is so deserving of all the recognition she receives.

Here is a behind the scenes look:

Yes, yes, I've been M.I.A. I hate to say it, but work has sort of taken over my life. In a good, and not so good way.  Don't get me wrong, I love my job-but it's just exhausting some days. I've been wanting to see my girls for awhile now. Especially since Kristina was in NY and Siera went to Minnesota for 3 weeks. But finally, we were able to get together at our favorite all around good vibe/good drinks/good food place-BJ's! Mmm...I could eat everything on their menu. I wish Kate could've been with us too, but unfortunately she was out of town. Anyway, we were out celebrating a really big event that just happened in my life. I won't say what it is for privacy issues-but it's something I've been waiting a long time for. I'm so thankful and so lucky that 2010 is exactly how I pictured it to be. Next up-getting an agent! Can't wait to constantly put myself out there. Hopefully someone/something will bite. After all, my friends do think I'm pretty special. ;)

Anything you want in the world...

Real-life couples, more so than celebrity couples, inspire me a great deal. There's a greater sense of love there for me, because well-they're not so much in the public eye. And they're not constantly having to deal with all the baggage that comes with being famous. These 3 couples I've been following for awhile now, because not only are they super inspirational in the way they dress, live, and blog...but they're also completely in love. The way I love my own love. It's just really great to see.

Coury and Gabe from Fancy Tree House

Do you guys remember the pop band back in the early 2000s called Plus One? Well, Gabe was apart of that band. And I really liked their music when I was a wee teenager,  so I sorta followed the member's careers.  That's how I found Coury. Her sense of style and her blog inspired me. She talked of love with such passion, it made me want to find my own. A couple months after I found her blog on good ole myspace, I got tremendously lucky and found George. They'll forever be one of my fave real-life couples.

Lisa and Nate from A Glass Jar

Nate was also a member of Plus One. And I actually found Lisa through Coury's blog. They blogged about all their adventures together on myspace, with their indie band Castledoor, and their love for all things music, love, and happiness. Now, Lisa blogs with Blogger and is just as inspiring now, as she was the first time I saw her. She has the cutest/quirkiest sense of style, and has had sensational hair changes.

Naomi and Josh from Rockstar Diaries

I can't remember how I found Naomi's blog, but I remember that I never wanted to leave. No joke, I went back to the very first post she ever wrote the first time I read it. I was that hooked. But I mean, how can you not be? They're cute, they're foodies, and they're crazy about each other. Not to mention, they have the cutest lil puppy, named Kingsley-to complete their happy family. Naomi just has this glow about her, like she is the friendliest person known to man. Who knows, she probably is. And I absolutely love her retro-modern-classic sense of style. Tres chic.

Valentino/Elie Saab/Valentino

Just some of my fave looks from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Of course, it features the lovely Olivia Palermo, because I'm obsessed. I'm so excited she attended. I died over the Valentino numbers, especially the first one. It sorta reminds me of the dress I've been lusting over at work. Granted it's a much smaller, more manageable dress than the one she's wearing, but there's just something about it. I cannot wait to get it and show it to all of you. Anyway, just a sweet little post before work. Hope you like :)

Seeing Sienna Miller and Emma Watson pics from Glastonbury this year, has me itching. For years I've been desperate to go to a music festival. I really want to do Outside Lands next month, but it most likely will not happen due to lack of funds-so, next year it is (again...). Well, because I'm a Virgo-which means I plan things to the infinitesimal degree-I like to imagine or picture what I'd wear to these sorts of things.  It's always fun playing with Polyvore and seeing what outfits I can conjure up.

You guys like? I'm pretty happy with them. I actually wish I could dress like this everyday this summer. Instead, I'm in funereal clothing ALL the time. Moving on...speaking of Emma Watson. Her boyfriend George Craig, who's the lead singer of the band One Night Only featured Emma in their latest music video. And I'm obsessed with the song. So catchy. I can't wait for it to come out so I can buy it. I'm such a sucker for British musicians.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!! I know it's the 5th, but better late than never right? Besides, I had a pretty busy day yesterday, with work followed by the Independence Day festivities. Bestie decided to have it her house this year. When I got there, it was beautifully decorated in red, white, and blue. Their backyard was made for a bbq/mic night. It was a wonderful evening full of food, music, fireworks and friends. Exactly what I needed after a hard day at work. Speaking of...it's getting a lot easier, thank God for that. I'm getting used to all the paperwork and numbers. And I actually sold $600 worth of clothes yesterday-which apparently is really good for 4th of July. This is all very fascinating, I'm sure. But I have to keep track of my numbers in order to meet my goal for the month. So if any of you live in the LA area and want to help me reach it, just come by and ask for me! Anyway, I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday! God bless America!

Basic Black is what I've been living in for the past week. Wearing black is weird for me, because a. I hardly have any. And b. I love COLOR. But lately, every time I'm in the mall, the only things that jump out at me are black pieces. Who knew?
The new job has been good so far. My co-workers far exceeded my expectations, and my boss is probably one of the nicest people you will ever meet. But, the job itself is hard. I thought coming into this that I would only be selling and styling clothes. I didn't know that I would be put in charge of the financial aspect and inventory for the store. Needless to say, I'm a little overwhelmed. I mean, I'm good with money and math, but not that good. I was assured by all of them that it'll get easier with time and practice. God, I hope so...all I've dreamt about for the past few days are numbers : /
