Don't run away, it's only me...

HALLOWEEN 2010
We take the holiday quite seriously in the Nuguid/Ackles household.

This was a fun little photo shoot we did last week, in the comfort of our living room. The real American Gothic. Ha!
And then a couple of days ago, we went pumpkin patch hopping.  It's one of my favorite things to do in the fall. I ended up finding one that was half green, half orange. It was love at first sight-the odder the better.

I apologize for the quality of these pics. I forgot my camera, so we took 'em with Geo's camera phone. On Saturday, it's my best friend's Engagement Halloween-themed party! I am beyond excited for that. I can't wait to see what everyone dresses up as. :)
If I don't blog before then, I hope everyone has a very safe and fun-filled Halloween. I shall be stuffing myself with candy ALL day!

It never ceases to amaze me how much fun I have with my theatre boos. Especially combined with the Fairfax Flea Market and Toast-done deal. That's where we trekked on Sunday-and I was on a mission. I have been on this mission for almost 3 years now. I needed to find the most perfect leopard coat I can find, that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I must say though, people who work at the Flea Market have become major a-holes. They're rude, and price things way too high thinking they'll get you. But oooh no, sir-I will not be shelling out $200 for your FAUX fur jacket, even if it is stunning. I did end up finding this beautiful Aztec-looking necklace, which I immediately put on because I decided it looked good with my outfit. Didn't see anything else, so we left and had brunch...actually more like linner at that point. Toast is one of my faves. It's a little cheesy with all of the actors/casting directors/agents/etc...who eat there, but their food is amazing. Richie had the brilliant idea to want cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery afterward, so we walked the two blocks over there, and in this little shop called Polkadots & Moonbeams-I FOUND MY LEOPARD COAT! In my price range, and perfect as can be. Like Kristina says, "It's like the Fashion Gods (in my head, it's Coco Chanel) shined a light" and there it was waiting for me! I immediately put it on, and haven't taken it off since. Well, you know what I mean...I wore it for the rest of the day, until I went to bed. Haha! I cannot wait to pair it with lots of things this season. All in all, a very good day indeed.

My best friend Siera and her sister Carlie celebrated another birthday together this year-and this time, the theme was RED. The only red thing I incorporated into my outfit was a red clutch and red lips. I just couldn't pass up the leopard-yet again. But the party was a huge success. I love her more than red velvet cupcakes. And that sure is a lot of love.

I feel like I blog about Olivia Palermo at least once a month. Is that healthy? Well, I guess if you have a crush, you have a crush-and there's no denying that I have quite THE girl crush on her. How could you not?! These are some pictures taken of her during Paris Fashion Week.

But now, onto the more important things...shopping.

I intend to buy these (items similar to these) in the very near future. I think I need them in my life this season.
1.) Leopard coat. My love for leopard will never cease. Besides, I wanna channel Edie Sedgwick in a big way this fall/winter.
2.) Nude pump. I saw a pair that I died over at Nordies the other day. Might have to get it.
3.) Wildfox Couture shirts. They're so soft, but my God, they do break the bank.
4.) Sideways Cross Necklace. Remember mine? Well, it died. Actually it's been dead for quite some time now due to me being lazy and wearing it to bed-I accidentally pulled on it during a bad dream. I haven't gotten around to fixing it. But I need to. I miss it.
5.) Burgandy lipstick. Must have.
6.) Leather shorts. Oh my, these have been on my list since the summer. But now, I can wear them with tights which is even better.
7.) Black lacey bra. To wear underneath pretty much everything. Especially my sheer billowy tops.
8.) Combat/Military boots. I already have a pair in khaki, but you really can't go wrong with having a black pair.
9.) Rose Gold bf watch. Again...has been on my lust list for awhile. Gotta have.
10.) NARS blush in orgasm. It really is THE best blush in the world. And for $25, it sure as hell better be.
11.) Camel satchel. I'm all about structure and chicness. And this brings the best of both worlds.
12.) YSL ring. I think I'm getting this for Christmas from a certain special someone. He knows just what I like. ;)

Some pictures from my 25th birthday celebration over at Citizen Smith in Hollywood. My friends mean the world to me, so it was great for me to have them all in one room. But there were some things I definitely would have changed that evening if I could. From the get-go I was very taken with Citizen Smith. The place is industrial chic-which is exactly how Geo and I want our future home to look. Plus, I heard they had excellent food. When we got there, not only was the hostess rude to me (the birthday girl-hello?!), but they didn't have the table ready even though our entire party was already there. Then we find that the drinks were exceedingly expensive-but hey, I guess that's Hollywood for you. And 3rd-they had a charity event going on at the same time, so we were pretty much forced to listen and comply with whatever they were doing. The event actually turned out to be pretty good, but I just wish they could've told me that when I made the reservation. I gave the night 3 out of 5 stars. It was great, but it could have been better. The only thing I really loved about that night...was my look-haha! And the fact that my best friend pretty much danced all evening-and she never dances at these things! :)

P.S. I'm really obsessed with leopard right now, can you tell?
P.S.S. This is really late but I wanted to thank Tieka over at Selective Potential for her wonderful feature of Geo and me. It was very sweet, and I absolutely loved it. If you haven't already visited her blog, what are you waiting for?!

I am OBSESSED with my cargo skinnies. And apparently so are they:

Only difference is, they're wearing the J Brand "Houlihans" that are about $245 for a pair. I thought, maybe not so much. But I got these at my own Max Studio.com for a fraction of the price. And I am absolutely in love. I wear them pretty much all the time. :)
