Winter's chill chilled me to the bone this year

What's in my bag?
Photobucket

I've always wanted to do a post like this, but never got around to it, until now. :)

1.) Bag-B.Makoswky. I love this because it's huge, and I can literally throw anything I want in it.  It's starting to show it's wear though, but it's one of my favorites.
2.) Camera- Canon Powershot SD800 IS. Old, gifted by my love. But I'm craving a new one. Takes the majority of pictures shown on my blog.
3.) Mascara-pretty much whatever I can grab in the morning. This one happens to be L'oreal.
4.) My keys. Tons of keys, for work, home and car.
5.) Chapstick and at least 2 lipstick shades. I always change my mind halfway through the day. I need my options.
6.) Compact mirror for those touch ups. This one is fun for it's retro look.
7.) Burberry Weekend. My perfume always and forever. I can't remember the last time I haven't worn Burberry. Sometimes I do the simple sprays from Victoria Secret, but this is my ultimate go-to fragrance.
8.) Wallet-Hobo International gifted to me from my best friend, on our first Christmas together. I've used it ever since, and that was 3 years ago. The leather is beginning to show some wear-but what can I say-it's loved.
9.) Sheer foundation-Fit by Maybelline. This one goes on really light, which for the majority of my week works better for me. I usually don't wear makeup to work, but if I do it'll be this one.
10.) Blackberry-so old. But I shall miss it when I move to the iPhone in April.
11.) Nylon mag-or any magazine for that matter. I like to have foldable reading material in my bag. ;)
12.) Ray Bans-my fave pair probably ever. I wear them constantly.
13.) iPod-(not pictured, because it's in my car) Again, really old. It's a nano-like the 3rd generation. And can only fit like 900 songs. But it'll do.

So there you have it.
I have to say today has been shaping out to be a pretty terrific day. My babe and I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien this morning in Studio City. Then headed over to Urban Home, where we purchased a couch for the first time! Our old couch was the one he grew up with, but it was really on it's last legs, so we decided to get a new one. It was probably the biggest purchase I had ever made-but it's so beautiful-it's worth it. Can't wait for it to get delivered on Tuesday!

I hope you all have an amazing weekend. Here's hoping it doesn't rain at the Oscars tomorrow! xoxo

A couple facts:

1.) I spend way too much time, and way too much $$ at Urban Outfitters.
2.) Finally saw The King's Speech. And it will be a travesty, if it doesn't win best picture this Sunday.
3.) Ordering rolls and rolls of sushi, because they're tiny is a bad decision. We were full after the appetizers.
4.) When I wear anything furry, I pet myself.
5.) I'm using a different foundation, and I'm still on the fence about it. I feel like it makes me look darker.
6.) Date nights with my hubby are ALWAYS magnificent.
7.) John McCrea's voice=on constant repeat in my car and in my head.

Love you madly

Hello lovelies. I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. It's been one helluva week, with work and play and all sorts of love. Valentine's Day came and went. We don't really celebrate it, because let's be honest-it's a hallmark holiday. Geo and I express our love everyday of the year.  Although, I do love eating all the chocolates...

A couple days later, we saw CAKE at the Troubadour. We had been waiting since Christmas for this night. Geo grew up listening to CAKE, and I grew to love them when we first started dating. I hadn't seen them live before, and boy was I IN LOVE! First off John McCrea-unbelievably handsome-but also absolutely brilliant. His songwriting and the way he performs, makes you want to watch them forever. I didn't want to leave. If you haven't heard any of their albums, this is the time to start. Their most recent release "Showroom of Compassion" is one of my favorites.

My parents also celebrated their 33rd anniversary. So I took them out to one of our favorite restaurants Cafe Bizou. It's really the best French American fare anywhere. And I wore my red pants again. It's become one of my faves. It's so bright and puts me in a good mood

These are just a couple shots from my day with the girls today. We had been anticipating this day for awhile now, so needless to say-we all had a fabulous time. Lunch at Hot's, followed by a little impromptu gab/photo session at a nearby park.
The weather was also really beautiful. So beautiful in fact, that I was actually able to wear shorts without tights, socks or anything-in the middle of winter! However, although it was nice to feel springy today, I do hope that we get a little more cold weather here before it completely disappears for good.
I love my girlfriends. We always have a grand ole time. xoxo

I'm still taken by surprise...

As you can see I had a pretty stellar day. First off, I knew my sister was going to be in town this weekend for her bf's birthday. But we devised a plan a couple days ago, to surprise my parents. So neither of us told them, and my parents were in shock, when she jumped out from behind a couch at Crate and Barrel. My mom screamed in the store, and didn't have a care in the world who was looking. I wished I had videotaped it. It was a pretty spectacular moment. Then, we ate at Noodle World (I know, I know-it's like we never eat anywhere else) and I got a boba. Magnificent afternoon indeed.

But then when I got home, Geo told me that one of our dogs (currently living with my mother in law) got out, and we haven't found him since. No one's called any of the numbers on his tag. And Geo is still out there looking for him. My high from earlier today was completely crushed, and now I can't stop thinking about Orvis. I hope he's ok. The thought of anything else, would just be completely devastating-so I'm going to put it out of my mind.

It was really nice to be with my family. And laugh so hard, that tears start streaming down my face. And kiss my sister a trillion bazillion times, whilst she pushes my face away. Haha! It was nice. Everyone please think good thoughts about my doggie. xoxo

Edit: A women found our dog the following day, and we were all reunited soon after. I am beyond happy. Thanks for all the well wishes, I really appreciated it. :)

It's a new dawn

Hi Lovelies, I'm back. Below are my fave looks from the SAG awards last Sunday. I know I'm late again, but that's because I've been preoccupied with moving into our new apartment the last couple of days. It's been an incredibly stressful, overwhelming experience-especially with work mixed in. But now that it's over, I can just focus on unpacking and finally getting things in order.

Did you guys watch the SAG's? There were some pretty exceptional dresses on that carpet. Waaay better than the Golden Globes in my opinion. Mila Kunis is a goddess!

Also, below are two pictures from a shoot I did a couple years ago with brilliant photographer, Danielle Palomares. I've already done a couple shoots with her, and I can't wait to collaborate again soon. She's got amazing things going on right now for new clients, so definitely check her out on my sidebar.

I can't wait for the weekend. My sister and I have a surprise for my parents. ;) xoxo
