They're Baaaaaack!

Gossip Girl Season 3 begins tonight, and I am BEYOND excited. The wait has certainly been long enough. Haha-I can't believe how obsessed I am with this show! It's a tad ridiculous, but it's a guilty pleasure.

On another note...did anyone catch the VMA's last night?
Some thoughts:

1.) Kanye West's little "drunken" stunt embarrassing a poor Taylor Swift after she won her award was just so tactless. I was beyond shocked and disappointed in him. I do like his music, but he's definitely someone I don't respect.
2.) I love my hubby because as soon as that happened, he and I began to sing Swift's You Belong With Me at the top of our lungs, with no cares in the world. It was awesome.
3.) The MJ tribute with Madonna and Janet Jackson, was extremely heart-wrenching and beautiful.
4.) I can never hate on Lady Gaga no matter how ridiculous she is...she is quite the performer.
5.) My love for Beyonce went through the roof after what she did for Taylor Swift last night.

I was in LOVE with Katy Perry's dress. I agree there was so much metallic on the carpet last night. But hers stood out the most to me and one I would wear in a heartbeat. She certainly wasn't the best dressed of the evening, but I was drawn to it.

When telling my hubby that I wanted this gorgeous Julie Mollo acid wash playsuit, he asked me how much it was. It's $250, plus shipping and handling...
In which case he concluded that it was far too much to spend on something so little.
He doesn't UNDERSTAND! Lol.
I'm so obsessed with it.

Hard candy with a surprise center

Inspiration time. Katy Perry is seriously TOO pretty for her own good. I mean, geez, wow! I want everything she wears in this music video. Espec. the last outfit (pictured above) And if anyone knows who designed those to die for shoes-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, let me know! It would be most helpful-thanks.

And...I think I've found my future wedding dress. Fo sho!

edit: Man oh man. As most of my readers know, I am a huge fan of Rumi Neely's blog. The way she puts together outfits, so effortlessly, is just absolutely mind blowing to me. And I sincerely applaud her for taking so many risks-and succeeding in those risks. But man, there are some incredibly mean people out there who comment on her blog, talking trash, saying this and that. And it's like come on! If you don't like what she has to post, then don't read it. That's my mantra. I mean, thank God, she has self control and thick skin. If that were me-It would break my spirits for so many days, but I'd eventually give them a piece of my mind in hopes that they wouldn't come back ever again- good riddance, I say. I'm just glad she addressed the situation in her last post, because even I couldn't stand to read what they/he/she had to say in the comments box. It's rude, and extremely uncalled for.
Enough of my rant. I just wanted to get that off my chest.
