Every word you say I think I should write down...

June 4th, 1977
A beautiful cherubin baby was born...who eventually grew up to be an incredibly handsome and talented man...who eventually made me the happiest woman on the planet.
We celebrated my babe's birthday with simplicity this year by going to our beloved Old Town Pasadena and basically just hanging out.
Finally got a chance to see The Hangover II, which I have to admit-we were both extremely disappointed about. It was exactly the same as the first-to a T. Every single beat was the same, even the ending had no twist. But I have to say my adoration for Zach Galifianakis will never cease. He's wonderfully funny and brilliant.
After that we did a little shopping, had cupcakes from my favorite DotsCupcakes, and chai lattes at Intelligentsia. It was a perfect afternoon, which ended with a super romantic dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant Sushi of Naples.
Happy Birthday Baby. I hope you had a wonderful day! Xo

Today was hot. But it was also a very good day. It always is when I get to spend the day with the love of my life, in the city I love-Pasadena. Every time we get to go back to our hometown, it's such a treat. We had Father Nature's for lunch, where they have the absolute best lavash wraps in the world. We shopped for a bit, saw The Town (which was excellent btw) at the new Arclight, then had a lovely romantic dinner at our favorite beloved Sushi of Naples.  All in all, one of the best days I've had in a long time.  Especially...since I get to work ALL weekend. :(

P.S. This sweater is pretty popular among the blogging world. And at first I didn't quite get why...but it's so damn comfy and really fun. It'll probably end up being my go-to sweater.

Me and my sister being dorks waiting for our party to get called for some SUSHI! I love my sister's sense of style. So effortless, and yet so put together at the same time.

Ok, so story about my new Sam Edelman clogs...I've been dreaming about these clogs for awhile now. Like literally DREAMING, but I knew I couldn't afford the $150 price tag, so I sighed, called it a day, and sort of gave up. Then during one of my breaks, I walked into Bloomingdales and saw them on the clearance rack. Not only were they on sale, but there was an additional 50% off the marked price. I ended up getting them for $49.99. I couldn't believe myself. So lucky. I feel like they were just waiting for me. :)

I love date days. Especially when they involve a Russell Crowe movie, shopping, and sushi. The babe and I went to Burbank to see Robin Hood, which was pretty exceptional. But for me, you can't really go wrong with a Ridley Scott epic starring one of my favorite actors and the always brilliant Cate Blanchett. Although it still did not surpass Gladiator, it was still very well done. Afterward we shopped around, and Geo got me this amazing Trash & Luxury shirt, I've had my eyes on online for awhile now. When I spotted it, I freaked. I cannot wait to wear it! Then for dinner we went to Kabuki for some much needed sushi. I know some people say Kabuki is really the Starbucks of sushi restaurants, but to be completely honest-we both quite like it a lot. You get wonderful food, for an amazing price. I mean, you can't really beat that. All in all, it was a pretty amazing day...I wish everyday was like this.

To light the night, to help us grow...

The first picture is for the Forever Sweetheart contest over on Chictopia. I'm going to enter for a chance to win a gift card to F21. So that should be fun. Obviously I wish it was still daylight when I took this outfit picture, but we didn't make it.
However, yesterday was the best day I've had in a long time. In the Nuguid/Ackles household, Valentine's Day is usually meant to be every day. But this was the first year we actually made an effort to plan something. If you had our schedules, you'd understand...we hardly get a chance to see each other lately, with how busy he is. I don't like his new schedule at all-but it's just something I have to adjust to. So last night, we finally saw Avatar...FINALLY! And I was completely blown away. We both were...surprisingly. I thought it was probably one of the greatest films I've ever seen, in my entire life. Yeah, it was spectacular. Afterward, we headed over to Pasadena and got sushi at our favorite restaurant, Sushi of Naples. I've spoken of them many times on the good 'ole blog. But it really was the greatest night. I always have a good time when we're together.

I hope you all had a fantastic Valentine's Day. xoxo

Last Sunday we celebrated Part One of my babe's 32nd Birthday. His real birthday actually isn't til tomorrow, but my parents and sis wanted to take him out to his favorite restaurant in Pasadena, Sushi of Naples. Hands down some of the BEST sushi, I've ever consumed. Plus, it was where he took me on our first date so I always love it when we eat there. :) If you're ever in the area, try their Vacation in Bangkok roll. It's super spicy and super delish!

Did anyone watch the MTV Movie Awards the other night? Okay...so I must admit, I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga. But to get awarded so many times, was beyond me. And I'm sorry, but I am so tired of the whole "I don't give a ---" look Kristen Stewart has been sportin' nowadays. It's starting to look like she's trying too hard to not give a hoot, ya know? Someone who did look absolutely stunning that night was none other than Leighton Meester...

Trying to face the days a world apart...

But no longer...

After much anticipation, Geo and I finally got our perfect little apartment!! I feel so thankful, like my prayers have been answered. Pretty much-LIFE IS GOOD. I feel so happy, absolutely ecstatic that it all worked out for us. It was a long time coming for us. And now it's here. We're moving in a week and a half. 10 days!!! That's going to be a whirlwind.

Geo and I celebrated by getting Japanese at Wokcano. Geez, I love that place. Really great, unique tasting sushi. Yummy in my tummy. Blech. I can't believe I just wrote that. Anyway, sakes and sushi are always great for celebratin'. I savored the moment because it would probably be the last time Geo and I have a nice dinner out in a long time. That's what he says. Because we're going to be good budgeters now that we have our own place. And this time...I actually believe him.

I love my husbfriend. Haha. I tried to create a word and I can't even really pronounce it. Such a loser.

Happy, Happy, Happy.
