Dangerous and Sweet

Happy Halloween!

This pic is from 4 years ago, when Geo and I were in a monster musical together as Dracula and Natasha. One of my favorite Halloween get-ups ever. Hope you all have a fun-filled evening!

Two years ago for my 22nd birthday, the beau and I took a trip to San Francisco. Frankly speaking-it was one of the best trips of my life. It was only for 3 days, but we packed in as much as we could do and see in that short little trip.

I miss that weekend so much. And I desperately need it.

Last Saturday, I attended my birthday boo, Siera and her sister Carlie's 80s Prom themed Birthday Bash! It was probably one of the BEST parties I've been to in a long time. Great people, great times...and AMAZING desserts. Like, seriously delicious. I couldn't keep my hands off the brownies and cookies, lol. They definitely went all out and did not skimp on any of the decorations-which included an area to take your prom photos. I felt like I was literally in 1986! Everyone dressed up in head-to-toe 80s gear as well, and it was so incredible to see people's transformations and how dedicated people were. Not to mention, the MUSIC! Goodness, some of the best dance music came from that era.

All in all, it was definitely good times, and amazing memories to be had.

It's decided that nobody, and I mean NOBODY does style blogging better than Caroline Blomst. This girl...she gives me a heart attack every time I see she's posted something new. I love the way she puts outfits together more than anyone. And I mean, hello? She's so beautiful, she's like a Swedish Angelina Jolie!

Please, if you haven't already-please check out her blog and see for yourself.

Caroline's Mode

Man, those Swedes! There's definitely something in the water. Good thing I'm married to someone who's a chunk Swedish. Can't wait to go there!

Yesterday afternoon, my honey and I-along with Siera and Dana-decided to see a show in Hollywood. The play was called Tape by Stephen Belber, and it had a couple of our friends involved (on stage and off). The play itself was really good, really well acted. However, one of the people in the cast happened to be an ex-friend of mine, who I haven't spoken to in about 4 months. The reunion turned out to be as cordial as it could be in that situation, but I guess I was expecting something else from her end. Needless to say, it was an entertaining, good afternoon. Apart from Geo's phone going missing which he still hasn't gotten a hold of...:(

These pictures were taken in the alley behind the theatre. We were there super early, so we wanted to kill some time. :p

Yeah Yeah Yeah's Hysteric has been on constant repeat in my head. I've been kinda obsessed with the album ever since my honey got it for me. But that's beside the point...the point is-I've abandoned you guys for awhile. But it isn't my fault...you see I've kinda been celebrating my birthday about 50 times for the past two weeks. The last of it though, happened last Saturday. It was actually supposed to be a dinner party at my bestie's house, but things beyond both of our control happened out of the blue, making it difficult for her to host it. Therefore, so many changes had to be made last minute. But all of my friends are so great and flexible and were all able to attend, without hesitation. So there was a dinner party at Wokcano-which is one of my fave Asian Fusion restaurants-and then a drinks/kickback afterward at one of my other bests, Siera's house. I love my best friends, for being so willing to open up their homes for me at the drop of a hat.

I have to talk about the dress though...it takes me awhile to pick the perfect dress. So about a month ago (yes, a month) I had Siera and Danielle come shopping with me to help me out. We went to Melrose and into this little store called Bliss. Everything was exceptional-there were so many options to choose from, and this dress was actually not one of the ones I fell in love with right off the bat. But as soon as I tried it on-it kind of became...the one. And I will forever feel indebted to both S and Danielle for convincing me to get it, because I'm kind of in love.

Hope you guys enjoy my birthday pics!!! And I want to thank everyone who celebrated it with me!

Tell me a lie...

I am so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately guys. It's been a crazy last couple of days. And unfortunately Geo and I were hit with some pretty bad news today, so we're packing up car and driving to Palm Springs tomorrow morn. But last night, my friends and I celebrated my 24th Birthday and I was so extremely grateful and felt so loved. More on that when I return on Wed. For now here's a sneak peek:
