Um...hello?!!! I think I'm SERIOUSLY in love with this outfit. This is my absolutely fave look in ALL of London Fashion Week. Emma Watson does it again and again for me. I can't even describe how in AWE I am of this Burberry goodness. Head-to-toe Burberry! My dream birthday look for sure! Oh you know it only costs about $20,000 altogether!

DIIIIIEEEEE!

As most of my faithful readers know, I just celebrated a birthday. My 24th birthday in fact...I am now in my mid-twenties. And although that doesn't really please me, because I feel I haven't yet accomplished much in my life-I am also really anxious to find out what this year has in store for me. I feel like I'll accomplish my biggest goal this year, and dang-it if I don't-I'm going to have a very disappointing 25th birthday.

I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday twice this year, and an upcoming dinner party (so 3 times!) has got me all a flutter! On Sunday, my family took me out to the Americana, which I noticed has sorta become our go-to place for birthdays and whatnot. I like it and all, but I think I'm going to want a break from the place for awhile. We ate at Cheesecake Factory, which was my pick because I thought I would be having cheesecake. But I ate too much of the bread, that by the time my shrimp pasta came around, I only had about 4 bites of it before I called it quits. Therefore, I didn't have any cheesecake. Oh well, besides I wasn't liking the vibe of our waiter at all. He was drooling all over me, kept calling me "beautiful" which didn't please my dad very much. Sometimes, I wish guys would be more observant and noticed the ring on my finger! Hello?! But other than that, I was very happy to see my family and especially my sister. Only she could pull off acid-wash skinny jeans, and bright red, old-man loafers!

The next day, on my actual birthday (I share a birthday with one of my bests, Siera, who makes appearances on the blog fairly often) I got a red-orange manicure to go with my mustard color dress for my birthday dinner. Kate, AJ and my honey joined me at Ketchup in West Hollywood, and while the food and decor were something to write home about, I was none too pleased with the service. I think everyone was pretty satisfied with their food though, and I love my best friend for surprising me with a bottle of champagne! I was extremely happy with the evening, and feel so blessed to have such wonderful, beautiful friends to share it with.

Yesterday was pretty much the start of my birthday weekend. My best and I went shopping and began shooting around ideas for my upcoming birthday dinner party. I have to wait another two weeks before it happens though, because most of the people I want to attend are in the middle of doing a show. That show being the first one of the season at my alma mater-Fate of a Cockroach. So last night Kate and I went to support one of my girls, Siera. She was was amazing in it, I was so incredibly proud of her! I had never seen her perform before apart from tv stuff, so it was definitely a great experience.

Today, I'm celebrating my bday a day early with my family! I'm so excited! I get to eat cheesecake! Yay!

They're Baaaaaack!

Gossip Girl Season 3 begins tonight, and I am BEYOND excited. The wait has certainly been long enough. Haha-I can't believe how obsessed I am with this show! It's a tad ridiculous, but it's a guilty pleasure.

On another note...did anyone catch the VMA's last night?
Some thoughts:

1.) Kanye West's little "drunken" stunt embarrassing a poor Taylor Swift after she won her award was just so tactless. I was beyond shocked and disappointed in him. I do like his music, but he's definitely someone I don't respect.
2.) I love my hubby because as soon as that happened, he and I began to sing Swift's You Belong With Me at the top of our lungs, with no cares in the world. It was awesome.
3.) The MJ tribute with Madonna and Janet Jackson, was extremely heart-wrenching and beautiful.
4.) I can never hate on Lady Gaga no matter how ridiculous she is...she is quite the performer.
5.) My love for Beyonce went through the roof after what she did for Taylor Swift last night.

I was in LOVE with Katy Perry's dress. I agree there was so much metallic on the carpet last night. But hers stood out the most to me and one I would wear in a heartbeat. She certainly wasn't the best dressed of the evening, but I was drawn to it.

Gimme More...

I want. I want. I want.
Since my b-day is in 10 days, I can't help but create an ultimate birthday wish list for all of my family and friends who are confused as to what to get me. I tend to be a little picky sometimes. So here's some help...

Row 1 (L-R)
Leather Jackets-I like unique cuts. And if it has studding, the better it is.
Influence by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen
House of Harlow 1960 jewelry by Nicole Richie-I like all the pieces but I'm obsessed with the rings and the headpiece.
The Break Up album-Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johansson
Roman Holiday

Row 2
Regina Spektor-Begin to Hope
Sara Bareilles-Little Voice
Muse-The Resistance
Feather Jewelry
A cute baby like Harlow Madden--Only kidding. Not for a few more years.

Row 3
Regina Spektor-Far
Regina Spektor-Soviet Kitsch
Feather skirt-Really feather ANYTHING.
Christian Louboutins-These are the thigh-high boots. Total must-have. omg.
Boyfriend Blazers-These are studded. But they don't have to be.

Row 4
ITunes gift card
Breakfast at Tiffany's
Vintage band tees
Repeat of the leather jacket-sorry...
Who What Wear

Yay! I cannot wait til I turn 24. I feel like it'll be the best year. Crossing my fingers.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

This actually has nothing to do with it being labor day, but I wanted to post a couple pictures from the shoot I had with the hubby yesterday. Whatdya guys think? It was totally spur of the moment, and I think they came out pretty good. I feel blessed to have such a brilliant photographer available to me whenever I want. Lol. He really does have such an eye, and he just keeps getting better. Hope you guys enjoy!

Not so strong without these open arms...

These are the two outfits I wore on my mom's birthday. The first one being at Knotts. It was a very miserable and very humid day-note the expression on my face. That was pretty much stuck all day. I wanted to be comfortable, but all I wanted to do was take of my shirt.
Her actual birthday was much more pleasant because we went to Santa Monica, which was 20 degrees cooler than everywhere else. And I felt very free and comfortable in my tunic. Don't pay any attention to the pained expression on my face for that picture as well. Lol.

It's my birthday month, which means, I get to post a wish-list soon! I'm so excited!
