These past two days have been the best in a long while. We celebrated my Dad's birthday with an amazing lunch at Buddha's Belly in Hollywood, followed by a leisurely stroll around The Grove and Farmer's Market. Family time is always important for me, and I'm especially taking full advantage of it before I start my new job next week. We ended the day with froyo and So You Think You Can Dance. It's always the little things that induce the most happiness.
Tradition is also very important. So we braved the crowds and the countless screaming teens, to camp out at the theatre in my hometown, to see the final installment of the series that changed my life. My family and I have done this for every movie apart from one, due to my sister being in Santa Cruz last November for Deathly Hallows Part I. And every time it's incredibly stressful, but incredibly fulfilling as soon as we're in our seats and the Warner Bros. logo pops up on screen. The energy is palpable and uncontainable, and a completely different feeling seeing it with diehard fans. All I can say is, the film could not have ended in a more perfect way. I felt a satisfaction that I haven't felt from any movie I've seen. It's a huge part of my life, and probably always will be. I hope you all enjoy it just as much I did.
xoxo
