Saturday Night. Two parties...one evening.
First up, Josie 24th Birthday at Lala's on Melrose. Greatest Argentinean food I've ever had. It's just good food in general. And it was super sweet when her boyfriend came out with the cake he baked all on his own. That was good cake! I wanted 2nds but I didn't want to look like a heffer. Geo and I had a great time. A couple hours later, my best friend's housewarming party. I still can't believe they're homeowners. I'm so proud of her, and the house looked FANTASTIC! Plus, I got to meet all of her friends finally, and we just had an amazing time with everyone. Two great parties.

I'm having major GG withdrawals. I wish tv shows were year round.

Ooh, also cannot wait for this...

We celebrated Father's Day last night because my dad has such a crazy work schedule at the moment, and they wouldn't let him take the time off last Sunday. We went to PF Changs, which is one of the family's favorite Chinese restaurants, and ordered way too much food. Definitely more than we could handle. I also loved the fact that one of my best friends, Beth, who lives in Washington D.C. was in town for a week, and was able to come out with us. I miss her so much, and it's so great that we still have the kind of friendship that goes beyond mileage. She's one of the best people you can ever hope to meet-I can't wait for her to come back... My dad was so funny last night, he actually went to the restroom and put on the new belt Geo and I got him. So glad he loved it.

Today's been crazy, huh? Super devastated about Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett's death. I actually cried. One of the 1st songs I learned to sing was by the King of Pop-Bad. I used to do the moves too. It's been an extremely sad day for the entire world, I'm sure. May they both rest in peace.

P.S. I'm also kind of obsessed with Alexa Chung's new show. Today Leighton Meester was on with Cobra Starship.

My two fave fashionistas. Most definitely. Check out Meester's shoes. Good Gawd!

Olivia Palermo

This look is an A+ all the way. I especially adore the shoes. Such a nice eclectic surprise to such a strong, chic, outfit. She can do no wrong.

Sorry for the lack of outfit posts guys! It's seems as though you've gone bored of me. There are a few promising (outfit wise) and exciting events coming so you should brace yourselves-haha! Anyway I hope you all have a great day with your fathers. I wish I got to see mine today...

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

I've decided that every month, at least once, I want to do a special feature on stylish celebrity couples. The first one being these two, because I am absolutely in love with the way Jessica Biel does casual dressing. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm not a big fan of JT, but he sure does put himself together quite well! I should really invest in long black skirt. It's such a staple, and here Biel is seen pairing it with just a simple white tank and a leopard scarf. Something so simple yet so chic at the same time! They're just so adorable together.

Sorry for the lack of updates. For being unemployed, and not having school-you'd think I would blog far more than usual, but I feel like I've been doing something every day since summer started. Speaking of summer, where is it? I was diggin' this june gloom for the 1st couple of days but it's getting kinda old. I just want to go to the beach and lay out, be lazy and listen to Jason Mraz all day. His music always reminds me of summertime for some reason. Odd. Anyhoo, having fun with picture editing lately as you can see. A week ago, my best friend Alli and I had a fun-filled day of yoga, Lotus vegan, and photoshoots. We saw these amazing colored walls in Noho, and I took some pictures of her. I thought they turned out rather beautifully, especially with her flowing red hair! I think she was pretty pleased with them as well.

My sister just had her prom a couple of weeks ago, and as you can see she looked absolutely gorgeous. See that's one disadvantage of not living with my sister anymore. Sometimes I miss the really important events in her life, like prom. I had a terrible prom, but I'm glad she had a great time. Not to mention...look at how stunning she looks. I looked like a tomato at my prom-haha!

If you guys like the shirt I'm wearing, one of my good friends, Siera's mom has a website called Much More Than Me, where the focus is on giving back and making people aware of the homeless pet population in our country. A chunk of the proceeds from their t-shirts go to animal rescues and shelters all over. So please support them! The shirts are also manufactured by American Apparel, so they're super comf, and are unisex. You can read more about the program on their website!

SURPRISE!!!

Geo's birthday surprise party was such a success. It could not have gone any smoother than it did, and for that I feel truly grateful. Of course, all of my friends were there to help out with whatever I needed, but especially my two bests Alli and Kate-who were kind of the anchors of the night. I don't even know if that's the right word {anchors} to describe what I'm going for, but roll with it, won't you? I told him I had made reservations for the two of us for a romantic dinner at Wokcano in Santa Monica. He loves the restaurant, and was super excited to go. Little did he know, that 18 of his closest friends were there to to celebrate with us. I was texting Alli and Kate like a madwoman hoping he wouldn't pick up on it. And as soon as we got to the patio of the restaurant, I look up to see all of our wonderful friends smiling down at us screaming-"SURPRISE!" It was everything I dreamed of. Geo was so caught off guard, but was just absolutely grateful and happy to see everyone. The restaurant could not have been more perfect for our party. They had us perched atop this gorgeous patio loft, overlooking the entire patio, and there was a DJ playing, and comfy seating-and it was all for my wonderful love. I am so blessed to have him in my life. And I am very thankful for incredible friends who love and support us no matter what.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!

Last Sunday we celebrated Part One of my babe's 32nd Birthday. His real birthday actually isn't til tomorrow, but my parents and sis wanted to take him out to his favorite restaurant in Pasadena, Sushi of Naples. Hands down some of the BEST sushi, I've ever consumed. Plus, it was where he took me on our first date so I always love it when we eat there. :) If you're ever in the area, try their Vacation in Bangkok roll. It's super spicy and super delish!

Did anyone watch the MTV Movie Awards the other night? Okay...so I must admit, I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga. But to get awarded so many times, was beyond me. And I'm sorry, but I am so tired of the whole "I don't give a ---" look Kristen Stewart has been sportin' nowadays. It's starting to look like she's trying too hard to not give a hoot, ya know? Someone who did look absolutely stunning that night was none other than Leighton Meester...
