You dirty people with your dirty minds! Pshaw. You must've thought this blog post would be about something else we shall not speak of in public arenas. But it isn't. I'm basically (Geo hates it when I use that word too often so I'm going to try and use it just once in this post) using that as the title of my blog entry, because I have to make it short and sweet. There is a lot of work that needs to be done. The last thing I should be doing is sitting here blogging. Even though that is all I want to do. :P
Anyway, long story short...
Last night was probably the best and quite possibly the most star-struck I've ever been. And I don't usually get star-struck. I told myself even if I saw Russell Crowe or Robert Downey Jr. walking down the street, I wouldn't run over and jump on them (even if my mind is saying "GO FOR IT!") The last thing I want them to remember about me (especially since my future lies in the entertainment industry) is my being that girl. You know the one...
***Super Fast*** "Omg! Like you are sooooo amazing, and like I cannot even believe, like, you are standing right in front of me, like omg-this is the best day of my life, like!"
Don't worry, I wasn't anywhere near that. But I was pretty close. My friend Alli had this extra ticket to go see Ingrid Michaelson at the El Rey in LA. And of course, I was going to go-it's Ingrid Michaelson. So there we were, first people in line, standing right in front of the stage-close enough to touch her close. Well afterward, Alli wanted to wait to maybe have her come out and take a picture with us. 15 minutes later, lo and behold-out comes Ingrid Michaelson with Katharine McPhee! Something you need to understand about me. I have loved Katharine McPhee since she was on American Idol. If I could have her career I absolutely would take it-in a heartbeat! Are you kidding me?! Not only is she so incredibly beautiful. But she was also really tall and really super sweet. Two very rare qualities from up and comers if you ask me. As you may well have guessed-I acted like a total LOSER in front of her, stammering up a storm. Blah Blah Blah!!! And, we were all set and posed to take a picture, when my camera died. It died! I was mortified to say the least.
And yes...she does look this gorgeous in person. Perhaps even more so.
Pics and vids from the evening will be coming soon to a blog entry near you.
Later blogopeeps!

I think you handled yourself quite well. At least you didn't yell at her "You're my ringtone!!!"
ehem.
I'm so happy you got to meet Katharine and Ingrid. I'm a big Katharine fan and I got to meet her last year here in St. Louis at Six Flags. She's a very nice young lady, and the prettiest girl I've ever seen!
