Found these over on Caroline's blog. I'd like to look like this all day, every day. Por favor.

My sister's senior prom was Saturday night and I was there to help her look even more gorgeous than she already is. I'm just waiting on the pictures, so that I can show her off on here...

Hope everyone is having a great memorial day weekend so far! xoxo

After 6 years, my heart still skips a little every time I see a photo of them. They are one of my favorite go-to couples for inspiration. So unique, and so perfectly put-together. I just thought I'd share the love.

I love date days. Especially when they involve a Russell Crowe movie, shopping, and sushi. The babe and I went to Burbank to see Robin Hood, which was pretty exceptional. But for me, you can't really go wrong with a Ridley Scott epic starring one of my favorite actors and the always brilliant Cate Blanchett. Although it still did not surpass Gladiator, it was still very well done. Afterward we shopped around, and Geo got me this amazing Trash & Luxury shirt, I've had my eyes on online for awhile now. When I spotted it, I freaked. I cannot wait to wear it! Then for dinner we went to Kabuki for some much needed sushi. I know some people say Kabuki is really the Starbucks of sushi restaurants, but to be completely honest-we both quite like it a lot. You get wonderful food, for an amazing price. I mean, you can't really beat that. All in all, it was a pretty amazing day...I wish everyday was like this.

It's Cannes season. Every year I look forward to Cannes, not just for the drop dead gorgeous red-carpet looks, but also for the chic photocalls, parties, and candids. I long for the day I can say I went to Cannes for a film. Here are a few of my fave pics from this year...

1.) One of the most stylish couples in my book, Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson in Chanel.
2.) Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams for the Blue Valentine photocall. I know they're not a couple, but they sure would make a cute one.
3.) Love love love Emily Blunt's dress. She is so underrated.
4.) Shia LeBouf and Carey Mulligan-one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. Such a mismatch but yet so perfect at the same time.
5.) Ryan Gosling and his cutie costar "tweeting" or something. Adorbs.
6.) Russell Crowe aka my honey's doppleganger
7.) And last but certainly not least, my forever girl crush-Marion Cotillard. How gorgeous can her face get? She is definitely one of the few people I would lose speech over if I ever met.

My baby graduated magna cum laude from CSUN's school of theatre this morning. And although it rained (a complete 180 from last year's ceremony) everyone still came out to support. Including my family, who had to drive all the way from Monrovia at 6am just to make it in time for the 8am ceremony. Why they punish the theatre students by having it that early every year is beyond me. Not gonna lie...a few tears were shed for both Geo and my theatre friends who I have experienced so much with at that school. It was a very proud and rewarding moment for me. I really loved my graduation last year, even in the 100 degree heat-but you sure can't beat a short ceremony due to the prospect of a thunderstorm.

So how does one dress for something so eventful, and yet so wet? Well, I stuck with my original plan-my amazing H&M garden collection kimono dress, that I still hadn't worn. I knew the sun would come out eventually...that or the rain would cease. So as we were waiting for the wonderful brunch that we were about to dive into at Cafe Bizou-we decided to take some pictures outside. I just had to take advantage of the now wonderful weather. Brunch at Bizou, as always, was absolutely amazing. I ordered the same thing I did last year. And you really can't beat their top-notch service and selection of desserts. The only thing missing was my bestie twin because she had to work. But AJ got to represent for the both of them. :)

So thankful for today, and so happy for my babe. I love you, George. xoxo

Forgive me for quoting the only Vitamin C song I like, it just sums up this post so well. Graduation day is fast approaching. I was able to experience all the hoopla last year when I graduated, and this year it's Geo's turn. To kick off the festivities, we went to Kristina's graduation dinner party last night. Her mom reserved us the entire loft area of the restaurant, and we had unlimited pizza, pasta, salad and drinks. BJ's always has amazing food. Food that I literally crave for days after I have it. It was an amazing night, with great food and great friends. I have to say, I was also partially responsible for styling Kristina that night. I can't wait to see her in the dress I picked out for Graduation day!

I've been so obsessed with all things Miu Miu spring lately. And I found this dress at F21 believe it or not. I was instantly drawn to the Miu Miu inspired look of it, and had to get it right away. Unbelievable price too!

A House is not a Home...

I just realized these are probably the first pics I've posted of our house. Well, it isn't really "our" house...we're currently renting. But I thought I'd take some outside by the white picket fence, for a change. I always end up just taking all my outfit pics up on the front porch. But I wasn't in a rush...had a little extra time before I had to leave the house, so I thought why not? I apologize for the stink face in all of these. It was incredibly bright out yesterday, and I forgot to wear my sunnies. Anyway, my mom got this cardigan for me the other day, which is perfect and so comfy. I've been wanting a striped cardigan for awhile. And this one fit the bill quite nicely.

Happy Mother's Day!
Yesterday I went to the flower shop, got my mom some flowers, carpooled with my best and her beau to Pasadena to meet up for brunch with our mamas. We ended up going to my mom's favorite restaurant-Noodle World-which is like this Asian fusion type place and it was amazing as always. Simple but great food, which is always the best kind of food to me. Afterward we walked around...did a little shopping. I finally got the American Apparel cotton spandex jersey cross-back bra that I've been wanting forever-in nude! So excited to wear under everything. Anyway, yesterday afternoon was grand...I'll probably never tire of Pasadena.
Hope everyone had an amazing day with their moms! xoxo

P.S. Sorry for the boring outfits lately...I tend to just choose whatever makes me feel comfortable, and will take just a few minutes to decide. Sad to say, my go-to moto boots are on it's last legs. I can't keep resole-ing them. :(
